Naveen Jain: Breaking the Bar as an Advocate for Education
Brilliant innovator and technology pioneer Naveen Jain is not only known as a clever businessman and entrepreneur, but also as a crusader for the rights of the underprivileged in the community. Jain is an advocate for education and takes Intelius, the company he founded in 2003 where he currently serves as chief executive officer, aboard in his philanthropic projects.
Intelius is an information commerce company that allows consumers and businesses to make informed decisions, moderate risk, afford a measure of protection, and reconnect with people through reliable, predictive information. Because of his eagerness to serve, Jain has instilled in his employees a love for giving. Not only does the company support causes that cater to hunger, healthcare, youth, and family, it also stresses the importance of education in the lives of local children.
Jain was raised and educated in India where poverty is always an unfortunate reality. Born into a family of average means, Jain was gifted enough to receive an education from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT, Roorke) and later on from the renowned XLRI Jamshedpur School of Business and Human Resources.
