Don’t Be Fooled by SubStandard Companies
Man and vans want to draw your attention to the fact that there are many companies going round these days who advertise themselves as removals services, but who don’t have the sufficient documentation or licenses to ensure the safety and protection of their customers. If you are moving house for the first time ever, it may be tempting to get flustered by which removals service to opt for and just pick the first one you see advertised that is also cheap. You may find that if you use this strategy for picking a service (aka no strategy at all) you may find that you end up with more than you had bargained for. The problem with some of these ‘cheap’ companies, is that they don’t have the necessary documents that ensure your valuables are covered by them, and that they won’t charge you an extortionate amount for making a claim. You may just hope for the best and pray that nothing goes wrong during your move, but this would be optimistic at best, nave and foolish at worst. No one can ever guarantee that there won’t be any damage to goods during transit, it is best to assume that there might be and take the necessary steps to protect yourself.
