How do you choose a name? Do you put down the first name that pops into your mind? Initially that’s what I used to do, until someone pointed out to me that there are a few things to take into consideration when choosing a name…

1. You Have To Be Comfortable With It

We associate names with people we know. If you like a certain name but know and dislike a person who bears it, will you feel comfortable using that name in your story?

Will you mentally shut that person out or will you be reminded of them each time you type that name?

Our characters have to be likable to us before they can become likeable to our readers. Will your dislike for that person transfer to your character?

2. It Must Be Easy To Pronounce

The English language can be, at times, misleading. How many words, and even names we spell one way and pronounce another? If the name you have chosen falls into this category, will your readers know how to pronounce it?

For years I use to pronounce the beautiful name ‘Sean’ exactly how it’s written ‘Seen,’ when it’s pronounced by the much nicer sounding ‘Shorn.’ Will the name you choose bear the same problem?

If you choose a difficult pronouncing name for your character and worse, one that’s not widely known, you stand to lose the effect of that name. A beautiful sounding name can be utterly destroyed if your reader doesn’t know how to pronounce it.

Your story has to flow. If the name you’ve chosen is not easy to pronounce, the readers will constantly stop each time they come across it. This will disrupt the flow of your story.

3. Foreign Sounding Names

The same as the above applies to foreign sounding names. They must be easy to pronounce. Consider the following:

  • Yahiya
  • Indihar
  • Gschu
  • Lyudmila

These names sound exotic but they don’t exactly roll off the tongue. Should you compromise the flow of the story for the sake of a name?

4. Does The Name Suit Your Character?

Not all names suit all people and not all names will suit all characters. Like clothing and hairstyles, names go out of fashion too.

For example…

Let’s say your heroine is a lively, upbeat, modern lady. Will it suit her type of personality if we choose the name ‘Mabel’? ‘Mabel’ we usually associate with an elderly aunt or grandmother.

What about your hero? Let’s say he’s a young man who possesses a powerful personality. Will the name ‘Hubert?’ suit him? ‘Hubert’ would suit an elderly character or perhaps a ‘quiet’ character.

5. They Shouldn’t Start With The Same Letter

If you’re going to have two main characters in your story and their names start with the same letter, it will read a little awkwardly.

Example…

  • David and Debra
  • Sam and Sue
  • George and Gina

6. Surnames

Like we carefully choose the first name for our characters, we have to be careful when selecting their surnames. Just like first names, there are certain surnames, which sound better than others.

When selecting a surname, make sure it has a pleasant ring, when used with the first name. Using names, which rhyme like, Jeff Jefferson, sound amusing. If this is the effect you wish to create then using it is fine.

7. Stereotype Names

Are you thinking of naming your character Adolph or Judas? There’s nothing wrong with these names, except for the fact that we tend to associate them with that single person in history who bore them. Will your reader trust your hero if you name him Judas?

8. Famous Names

I recall a quote I once read which went something like this…

“Nothing grows under the shade of a tree.”

If you name your character Elvis, Madonna etc.. Will your character be able to outshine the ultra famous person of whom the world knows? I doubt it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When naming characters there are also a few other points to consider…
Naming them will not only depend on what kind of people they are, but who their parents or guardians were (if the parents or guardians play some sort of role in your story). After all, we don’t name ourselves, do we? So take into consideration the following…
1) What kind of people are the parents?
a) Free spirited?
Unusual names will rank highly amongst people like this.
For example,
  • The seasons of the year
  • Or perhaps a month in the year
  • Or an object
  • Etc
b) Conservative?
These types of people tend to use the full name rather than an abbreviated version of it.
For example,
  • Kathleen instead of Kat
  • Michael instead of Mike
  • Etc
2) What Is The Parents/Guardians Nationality?
If they’re traditional, they will choose a name, which is popular in their country. Also traditional parents/guardians tend to give their children the names of their own parents or other relatives.
Look at the name you chose for your main characters. Does the name suit them?
For the last six years I have been living in the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina. Three years ago I experienced what many Americans have since 9/11; I was laid off from my job and there were few prospects in sight. After nine months of unemployment and only one call back in my field I had the inspiration to go into business for myself. I was lucky enough to find a talented, intelligent woman interested in investing in a business partnership with me and we began networking with and marketing to the local community. As time passed we realized what many other small business professionals have in the past, our best bet for success was on the Internet. Online we could reach a much broader client base, which would allow us to make more money and eventually support ourselves through the business.
Publishing Articles Online
One of the first steps my business partner and I took to begin marketing our company online was to write and publish articles through a variety of web sites. These web sites ranged from industry specific sites and e-zines to general web portals. Web portals accept articles on a wide range of topics and make them available to a variety of online and offline editors. As each article was posted to a new site a link to our company web site was included, this began to increase our web site traffic and our number of leads.
As our marketing plan moved forward we realized this was a tool we could teach other small business owners to use and a service we could offer to clients who wanted to increase their web site traffic. My business partner and I created a seminar and offered it at a local microenterprise organization. We also began to use this tool when consulting on web site development and Internet marketing projects. Overall, my clients have seen their web site traffic increase, along with their number of qualified leads each month. Since the services my company provides are affordable the client simply reinvests a small portion of the current marketing budget into my company. The client’s marketing budget stays the same while sales increase.
The Virtual Reputation, Is It Real?
I am not certain who first coined the term “virtual reputation”. I know I put the words together in a business meeting one afternoon and when I began to research the idea I realized many marketing professionals had made the same connection. Many people I have shared my Internet marketing ideas with have a slight aversion to the idea of a “virtual reputation”. They feel it implies a reputation that isn’t real. I beg to differ.
The virtual reputation is not one of dishonesty or false representation, it is simply a reputation created by a computer network, like any other virtual experience. When others using the Internet read your articles or visit your web site they are having a virtual encounter and meeting the virtual you. They will make numerous judgments about your personality, belief system and talent. This is why a positive, well-constructed virtual reputation is essential, it can mean the difference between a sale and no sale!
Building Confidence Leads To Success!
The most important way creating and maintaining a virtual reputation can help small business professionals is that it builds self-confidence. In the virtual world your reputation is not built through face-to-face contact or phone introductions, it is built by the personal expression of your ideas, skill and feedback from others. This levels the playing field for entrepreneurs who are just starting out in the business world. It is also a great tool for those who battle with shyness, anxiety or self esteem issues. Once you have encountered encouragement and criticism of your products or services online you are more aware of your target market and you have a realistic view of how your business can be more successful. A greater sense of confidence leads to a more competitive edge on the Internet and in the three dimensional world.
All the glass around
All that is frozen
You’re as glorious as Mars
You’re gorgeous like daylight
You’re just amazing like the night
I’ll give anything in exchange for you love
I’ll do all that you wish and all you’ll command
I’ll be forever and ever yours
Entered the room
Sat by your bed all through the night
I watched your daily fight
I hardly knew
The pain was almost more than I could bear
But still I hear your last words to me…
Heaven is a place nearby
So I won’t be so far away
And if you try and look for me
Maybe you’ll find me someday
Heaven is a place nearby
So there’s no need to say goodbye
I wanna ask you not to cry
I’ll always be by your side
You just faded away
Spread your wings you have flown
Away to something unknown
Wish I could bring you back
You’re always on my mind
About to tear myself apart
you have a special place in my heart
Always…
And even if I go to sleep,
I still can hear your voice
And those words I never will forget…
With infidelity reaching epidemic proportions, every woman should learn how to recognize the telltale signs of infidelity. The future of her relationship could depend on her ability to spot the telltale signs in time. In view of the rapidly rising divorce rates, and current statistics showing that 50% to 70% of men cheat on their mates, a wife can no longer afford to be the “last one to know.”
Every woman’s personal library should contain a reference book on how to recognize the warning signs of infidelity. “Is He Cheating On You? - 829 Telltale Signs” is a comprehensive guide which lists practically every known cheating sign. The 800+ signs of infidelity in this book are divided into 21 categories so a woman can easily locate the signs that apply to her mate. What’s unique about the warning signs listed here is that once a woman knows what to look for, any of these signs can be easily found using only her eyes and ears, her personal knowledge of her husband, and the information provided in the book. No special skills or equipment are required.
Each of the 21 categories is explained below along with the number of telltale signs listed under that category. While some women make it a point to check each of the 21 categories, others will only check the particular categories that seem to apply to their marriage or their mate. To insure that no one overlooks an important telltale sign, some of the signs (about a dozen) are listed under more than one category.
For example:
“He always calls a certain female to share the special events in his life.”
This sign is listed under Telephone Tip-Offs and again under His Behavior Around Other Women.
“He starts showering you with gifts or buying you flowers for no special reason”
This sign is listed under How He Relates to You and also under Gifts.
“You find deposit slips in his possession for someone else’s bank account.”
This sign is listed under Financial Affairs as well as under Physical Evidence.
Continue reading for details on the 21 major categories of telltale signs.
1. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE - 76 telltale signs
A man having an affair (or even thinking about having one) will want to make himself more attractive. He will begin to enhance his appearance in some way. Be alert for changes in his wardrobe, his grooming, his body, and his personal hygiene. These are usually the most visible signs of infidelity. If he embarks on a drastic self-induced makeover, it’s probably not for you. More than likely he’s trying to attract or impress someone else.
2. HOW HE RELATES TO YOU - 70 telltale signs
The way your husband relates to you can provide many telltale signs. His involvement with another woman will cause him to treat you differently — even on a subconscious level. This is one of those areas where a wife can pick up signs of infidelity that a private investigator might otherwise overlook.
3. CONVERSATIONAL CLUES - 70 telltale signs
What your husband chooses or refuses to talk about can alert you to his involvement in an extramarital affair. He may mention new people, places and things, while the people, places and things he normally talks about are no longer a part of his conversation. Even his tone of voice can be an important telltale sign.
4. WORK HABITS - 39 telltale signs
Work is commonly used as an excuse to account for large blocks of time away from home. Men often use their jobs as a cover for their extramarital affairs. Your husband’s work habits will undoubtedly change as his affair unfolds. Be on the lookout work-related telltale signs.
5. DAY-TO-DAY BEHAVIOR - 92 telltale signs
We are all creatures of habit. We all have a routine that we usually follow each day. A man who is cheating will display changes of some kind in his normal patterns of behavior. Pay close attention to any deviations in your husband’s daily routine. These deviations are telltale signs.
6. FINANCIAL AFFAIRS - 52 telltale signs
Affairs cost money. If your husband has a lover, he’ll want to wine her, dine her, entertain her and buy her occasional gifts. No matter how carefully he tries to cover his tracks, sooner or later this will be reflected in the family finances. Stay alert for financial signs of infidelity.
7. TRAVEL - 27 telltale signs
Your husband may not always be traveling for legitimate reasons. Even if he is, he may decide to combine business with a little pleasure. Travel affords a cheating unfaithful husband a unique opportunity to cheat away from prying eyes.
8. PERSONALITY OR BEHAVIORAL CHANGES - 36 telltale signs
Be alert for changes in your husband’s attitude, personality or behavior. Whether they are drastic or subtle, changes of this type are often an indication of infidelity.
9. ABSENCES - 39 telltale signs
Affairs generally require a considerable amount of time. Since there are only 24 hours in a day, your husband’s absences will become increasingly more frequent as he tries to steal time from other activities so he can be with his lover.
10. TELEPHONE TIP-OFFS - 76 telltale signs
Illicit affairs depend on repeated contact; many of which take place by phone. These telltale signs of infidelity are relatively easy to find. Many men take the risk of calling their lovers from home or having their lovers call them at home. Many wives (like me) discover their husband’s infidelity either directly or indirectly by the telephone.
11. CAR CLUES - 40 telltale signs
Your husband’s (or the family) car can be a rich source of telltale signs. The glove compartment, car seats (underneath and between), the tire well, the underside of the visor, the ashtray, the side pockets or compartments, under the floor mats and other nooks and crannies can reveal a wealth of information.
12. SEX - 37 telltale signs
Be alert for any type of changes in the frequency or the quality of your sex life together. Most important of all: If you suspect your husband of having an affair, take steps to protect yourself. Do not put yourself at risk for HIV/AIDS, herpes or e other sexually transmitted diseases.
13. EATING HABITS - 31 telltale signs
This is an area that wives usually overlook when checking for telltale signs. But your husband’s eating habits can be influenced or affected by his lover. Without even realizing it, he may develop a preference for the type of food she eats, the way she likes her food prepared or the kind of restaurants in which she likes to eat. These are the types of telltale signs it would never occur to him to conceal.
14. SMELLS AND TASTES - 21 telltale signs
Each person has his or her own unique smell or taste. You may be oblivious to it until it becomes replaced with something else. Pay close attention if your husband smells or tastes “different,” or if something in your home or car just doesn’t smell “right.” It may warrant closer investigation.
15. INVASION OF YOUR HOME - 22 telltale signs
It’s not uncommon for a man who’s cheating to invite his lover to his home. When this happens, it’s not unheard of for lovers to leave personal items behind–sometimes deliberately, for an unsuspecting wife to find. You will usually find evidence in your bedroom or bathroom if another woman has been in your home while you were away. But telltale signs of infidelity may turn up in other areas of your home, as well.
16. GIFTS - 19 telltale signs
Be especially vigilant around the times of the year when gifts are usually exchanged. During the holidays and various other times throughout the year, you may find gifts or cards hidden around your home or in the car. Receipts or credit card bills for gifts may turn up shortly before or after Christmas and Valentine’s Day.
17. COMPUTER USE - 30 telltale signs
It’s common these days for a cheating husband to use e-mail to communicate with his lover. Some of the telltale signs in this category may also be an indication of his involvement in an online or cyber affair. Don’t take this lightly. These affairs can be as harmful to your marriage as the real thing. Though they may not involve sexual contact, the emotional attachment can be extremely strong, and can quickly progress from cyberspace to physical reality.
18. CELL PHONES AND PAGERS/BEEPERS - 28 telltale signs
Today’s technological advances make it easier for a husband to cheat on his wife. But it’s also easier for a husband to get caught while trying to make contact or stay in touch with his lover.
19. PHYSICAL EVIDENCE - 32 telltale signs
Many times there’s physical evidence just waiting to be found. Check your husband’s wallet, his pants or jacket pockets, his desk or dresser drawers, the wastepaper basket, his closet shelves, the floor in the back of his closet, the garage, his study, filing cabinets, his workshop, his toolbox or any place else you can think of. Keep your eyes open. You’ll be surprised at the kinds of physical evidence of infidelity you can find.
20. HIS BEHAVIOR AROUND OTHER WOMEN - 71 telltale signs
Studies show that a man is most likely to have an affair with someone he already knowsa woman he comes in contact with on a regular basis - a neighbor, a coworker, a family friend or business associate. If you’re observant, you may be able to determine the identity of your husband’s lover by the way he behaves in her presence, or by how she behaves around him.
21. ACCIDENTAL SLIPS-UPS OR DISCLOSURES - 57 telltale signs
Sometimes you get lucky and find out what your husband has been up to by accident, or through some strange quirk of fate. An accidental slip-up on his part or on the part of someone else can clue you in to what’s been happening behind your back.
As you can see, despite its title, “Is He Cheating On You? - 829 Telltale Signs” actually contains 950 telltale signs in all. Additional signs were added before the final version of this infidelity book was printed. Is He Cheating on You? is probably the most comprehensive collection of cheating signs ever compiled. It contains a multitude of little-known signs of infidelity not documented anywhere else.
In this age of rampant infidelity, no woman, married or single, can risk missing or misinterpreting the telltale signs of an affair. The survival of her relationship may one day depend on her ability to recognize the warning signs in time. Be sure to visit http://www.IsHeCheatingOnYou.com for more information on cheating husbands and signs of infidelity. Don’t be the last one to know.
The Intrepid Inquisition
(A letter from a boy to the one dear to him)
By sai
First of all I don’t know what to say. Second of all I think I’m starting to say something. Third of all I think I’m quite getting it. Fourth of all here it goes. It begins every morning when I wake up and get ready for school. Normally I’d wait for my friends and for that trusty jeepney. It would just be any ordinary day until I started to notice a car pass my way. I could say that I didn’t appreciate anything by that view. Then my friends and I had a fight. It was a pity we didn’t talk for days, for weeks until a month passed. I didn’t see the importance of standing in the corner and wait for someone because I had no one. Still the car passed by but now I witnessed a silhouette of a girl. She has that stare that seems endless. I just ignored it. Other mornings came but still I found no reason to position in that area and wait. No friends, lots of jeepneys but why wait? I can’t seem to figure it out. Day after day I kept on wondering what I am waiting for. I think it’s instinct that I wait but for whom or for what? Then one morning, it hit me. The car passed again. I realized that I’m waiting for a person. I don’t know. All I know is that she’s behind that tinted car’s window. It’s been three years and the window hasn’t been opened yet not even once. Maybe chance didn’t come along for me to take. There was no way. I mean I couldn’t run after the vehicle and knock on the window and try to introduce myself. That’s idiotic and typically crazy. I don’t want to bastardize the morning. Then one day I was surprised to see that the window was opened. No one was there except the father. I felt so damned. I wanted to leave. Before I turned to leave I took one last look at the car and saw the very reason why I was waiting in that corner for more than an approximate of 1,095 days of my life. Finally I got a glimpse of her! I was dumbfounded. I saw her! I couldn’t describe the feeling within me. I felt I had accomplished a goal. I can’t seem to put into words the way she looked that day. She didn’t seem happy or sad but to me she looked so beautiful. For the next days, I hoped to see more of her but the window was closed. I thought it would open until further notice. I almost gave up. I know that patience was never my virtue but I guess I have a little amount of it knowing that I’ve waited for three long years. I tried to ask people if they are familiar or acquainted with her. To my dismay, no one responded. I felt that fate wouldn’t allow anything or any way to make me know her. Maybe I chose the wrong person or maybe I assumed too much that she’s the one. Sometimes I even question if she had thoughts about me. I even doubt if she ever saw. Am I the one she’s staring at? Then time came that opportunity rested on my hands. Their car broke in the middle of the road. Her father pushed it aside but he literally couldn’t do it alone. I then decided to help. When I reached the stretch she went out of the car. I was amazed to see her. We successfully forced the car at the side. Her father thanked me and to my delight she spoke a simple “Thanks”. I felt glorious. But the most awaited event happened when one afternoon, on my way home, I rode this jeepney, which happened to be the same PUJ she rode in. I sat across her but she didn’t perceive my presence. I thought this is so hard. Then she turned to my direction and smiled. I smiled back. Mine was bigger than her smile, which indicated that I was pleased to see her. I finally broke off and said, “How’s your car?”. She replied and we conversed for the rest of the trip. Now we’re good friends and I’m glad that the three long years of waiting ended splendidly or it has just begun.
I bet you get what I’m trying to narrate. I’m thankful that I got the chance to know the girl who makes my mornings better. I feel blessed with your company because I learned to have patience and I treasured the value of friendship. I set my ego aside and reconciled with my friends. I was relieved to know that they understood. Now it’s you. For the 1,095 plus days that I sacrificed in silence, I found the encouragement to make this decision. I decided to accept the fact that I loved you and still love you at the present. It is not of my requirement that you respond or not for as long as I let you know what my mind and heart speak of. This is and will always be a fact. I dare not end this because I still have forever to wait.
The Inevitable Riposte
(Her reply)
By sai
It’s really out of the ordinary that one expresses his feelings through personal mail. It is yet is much appreciated. First of all may I borrow your words? Second of all receiving the letter came as a shock. I never imagined that someone like you would write that lengthy composition for someone like me. I feel I’m not worth it but you made me feel I am. Thank you for the effort and the heart you placed in it. Third of all the three long years was very hard and extensive. I didn’t know anyone who could wait that long as you did. I admit that I have seen you for countless times already. It has also been three years that I’ve been catching a glimpse of your early morning condition. You were the first one I noticed on the first day of our permanent vacation in the vicinity. I’d catch you at least twice or thrice a week. Sometimes you were with your friends or sometimes all alone. Then I’d see you again in the afternoon when we pass by your school on the way home. You seemed to have the best time of your life with your friends in that little eatery. Lately I’m surprised to see you standing unaccompanied. I knew you were waiting for your friends but one day I have observed that you and your pal had your backs against each other. I wondered if you were just being catchy or if you had an argument. I saw you one afternoon with another buddy. I thought it was a miracle to see you go home that early. Turned backs, new friend, early curfew, I concluded that there was really something going on. Until now you are still standing by yourself, waiting. I stared at you. You seemed to stare back. I asked myself once whom you have been waiting for. You were in a quarrel with your friends and there are lots of jeepneys around but why wait? Now it’s the issue about the window. Since it’s early in the morning the cold breeze would freeze me and the unbearable dust would fly around. I never thought about the fact that you could see me from the outside until a friend of mine once waved at me behind the closed window. I was quite horrified. I had this generalization that you could see me too. Then our car broke. I was not expecting you to help since I had this impression that guys would never dare or even try to sweat and smudge themselves with filth early in the morning. Perhaps I was wrong. You had more important priorities than vanity. I was enchanted to see you work hand in hand with the others. I thought you all deserved a “Thank you”. The jeepney ride was pure coincidence wasn’t it? I never wanted to do anything that would suggest of something meaningful like a “Hello” but I remembered that you did a great deal of helping my father with the car. I was stunned yet felicitous to see you reply with that big smile. It did mean something to me. Fourth of all it’s a good start. This time fate was just testing our persons. How would you imagine this: in 1,095 days, you kept on seeing this person, that same old face you catch a glimpse of every morning yet seemed to look better each day? Don’t be flattered by what I’m saying because they’re not meant to flatter you. I’m not trying to be apathetic or nave but I’m trying to keep this simple yet substantial. I know it’s hard for your part to pour out everything that your mind and heart are screaming of. I congratulate you for being courageous enough to step up to the challenge and show the other side of you- the side I never knew. I admit that this is amazing. We were complete strangers but because of a reason that I don’t know we became good friends. I’m quite fortunate to have you around. I don’t want to say anything to you for now but this question is all that I could leave you with: How long is forever?
Secret #2: Creating your Marketing Timeline for Success!
Aho!
You can increase your sales and free time by creating
your own marketing timeline. Marketing timelines are
essential for all Internet businesses. They provide
not only organization but a truly well defined goal
sheet as well.
To understand your timeline is to understand your
business. Can you really know where you are going
if you don’t have a goal? I think not! Can you
really tell how well you are doing if you are not
logging your results? I think not again! Can
you really tell what your profit margin is at
this moment and will be next month at this time
without tracking your sales, goals and future plans?
Well I think you know my answer by now.
There is tons of internet marketing “How To”
infiramtion online. However have you noticed very
few people teach you how to organize your information?
Well, now you will know.
My marketing timelines include: goals present and
future, Action plans for today and tomorrow as well
as next month, and last but definitely not least
you have a sales tracker as well.
Ok. Now take out a sheet of paper, and for computer
lovers, open up your word processing program.
Let’s begin with our goal sheet.
On top of the page in BIG letters type:
Goal Sheet - Short Term
Now grab another piece of paper, or another page,
and on the top of that one in BIG letters type:
Goals - Long Term
Next page write in BIG letters:
Action Steps - Short term
And another page in BIG letters:
Action Steps - Long term
One last page in BIG letters write: SALES
Now you have the foundation you need to begin really
understanding your ebusiness as it grows and matures.
Grab a file folder, or on the computer, make a file
folder that says: “Marketing Timeline.” This folder
will hold all your files.
Page one: Short term Goals: Make 3 columns.
Column 1: Date
Column 2: Goal
Column 3: Date completed Goal
Page two: Goals - Long Term: Make 3 columns.
Column 2: Goal
Column 3: Date Completed Goal.
Page 3: Action Plans short term: Make 3 columns.
I can hear a lot of you out there groaning,
“there must be a way to automate this!” and yes
there is! However, I want you to do it manually
when you first start your ebusiness. I have found that
this will not only show you how you are doing and where
you are and what has to be done to get to where you
want to go. It also helps to seat all the information
in your unconscious brain. Walla! Automating the Brain!
Really, I am serious. By doing this manually you will
learn a lot more in the beginning and not have to learn
it as you go along. For those of you that can’t wait
to automate, I have included links to a lot of
automated services and software in my eBook:
“eBook Marketing Secrets Revealed.”
Have a great week!
Car Rental
It’s amazing how many cars there are that are rented out. What happens to all of these cars? Everyday,on my way to work, I pass this train depot, where there are hundreds of cars being delivered every day. Lots of them are going straight to car dealerships, and lots of them are going to car rental companies. Now the car rental companies get brand new cars at least every two years. After those two years the rental companies need to get new cars. So what happens to the old ones? Most of them go to vehicle auctions, where dealers bycars in bulk. Many of them get sold to other little privately owned car companies. Andregular individuals buy some of them. Most of these cars are like new, and have much of the factory warranty on them. It’s a great way to get a good deal on an American made car. Most of thebig car rental companies even have their own car dealerships. This is also a great place to buy a car at a discounted price. Since they are getting new cars all the time, they need to sell all those cars fast to make room for the new ones. Usually, when I am in a rental car, it’s a convertible. Because, usually I don’t need one unless I am on vacation, and I go on vacations in sonny places. The best car that I ever rented was an old 1970’s Volkswagen Bug convertible. Well it wasn’t really a convertible, because it had no top at all. We got it when we were in Mexico. We ended up staying in Mexico for whole month and had that car the whole time. It only ended up costing us $100 for the whole time. What a great deal.
